In a new PC (HP with WinXP Pro / SP2) my customer is experiencing frequent hangs in Outlook. The (Application) Event Log shows several Errors with IDs of 1000 and 1001 coming from Outlook. The extra information for these events are: Application Error (1000): The failing program outlook.exe, version 10.0.2627.1, failing module outllib.dll, version 10.0.2627.1, failing address 0x00012e4a. Application Error (1001): Error in the memory area 06429333. There are also a few Application Hang (1002): Hanging program OUTLOOK.EXE, version 10.0.2627.1, hanging module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang addresse 0x00000000.
It may look like a memory error.? Or are there other things to check? On the PC there is an anti-virus application from Norman installed (haven't seen it causing any problems before). There is also a program called SpamFighter installed.
Don't know this one. Any suggestions? Greetings, omberli!
